Webinar 'Clinical Trials in Conflict-Affected Regions'

On October 21, during the webinar, we will explore an important question: can clinical trials succeed in conflict-affected regions?

Spoiler alert: the answer is yes. However, conducting clinical research in such settings requires a careful balance between operational resilience and ethical responsibility, while ensuring participant safety, data integrity, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. For sponsors, successfully navigating these challenges can provide access to scientifically valuable and diverse trial populations.

During the session, our presenters will explore the practical realities of conducting clinical trials in conflict-affected regions, addressing both the operational challenges and the opportunities these markets can offer.

Using countries like Ukraine and Israel as key examples, they will discuss why conflict-affected regions can continue to provide valuable patient recruitment opportunities despite ongoing risks. Presenters will also demonstrate how local expertise, careful planning, and access to the right sites can strengthen operational resilience and support effective recruitment, enabling sponsors to conduct high-quality clinical trials even in challenging environments.
